The paper hypothesized that the Internet, although it allows the to articulate freely their own opinions, expanding access to the public sphere de facto replicates the same mechanisms that are observed in the mass media - the concentration, centralization and standardization of content. The first part of the article is devoted to the concepts associated with network information topology, while the second part is shown in which the dimensions and aspects of the Internet recalls the ways functioning of mass media.
